Jane Austen wrote in her book Mansfield Park, "Life seems but a quick succession of busy nothings."
Fast forward a few hundred years and thus, the blog is born, transforming all manner of "busy nothings" into "busy somethings."
By outward appearances my life may seem a trifle on the predictable side, but my inner world is a racketing cacophony of ideas and inspiration, inflected with humor, skepticism, and snark. (That's why you're here, isn't it?)
I'm a twitter-happy, Hoosier-born, bookstore-loving health nut who loves Jesus, football, astronomy, disregarding recipes, driving with loud music, kitty-cats, meteor showers, symmetry, flowers, folk music, and proper punctuation. I do not like rain puddles, thunderstorms, chocolate, or Nicholas Cage movies (except the first National Treasure, and no, don't quote me on that).
I've been battling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) for five years now, and as such have gone gluten, corn, soy, oat, dairy, and sugar free -- and yes, there's still food that I can eat!
I am a nutritionist and am currently pursuing a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Oh yeah, and did I mention that I'm a writer?
I can be reached at onlyaimeeblog[at]gmail[dot]com.
